INTRODUCTION
This introduction is more like an invitation than anything else. I am inviting you to accompany me on a journey into the Body, Heart & Soul of you you are and where you intend to focus your energy in life from this day forward. We will contemplate the energetic qualities of this endeavor as well as the more hands on/ concrete aspects. We will combine ideas with action and we will perform MAGIC...you and I, together. Let's begin with a very important clarification. This has to do with our perspective and awareness of our true identity in this world.
I'll begin with a central question. When you share your hopes, plans and dreams with most people do you find that they are very supportive and encouraging of you? If you are very fortunate you have a few authentic champions of your cause in your corner. If you are like others of us, well... let's just say we are surrounded by folks without vision or confidence in themselves which negates their ability to give encouragement or support to someone else. So they tear us down perhaps, laugh at us or try to nullify our dreams and aspiration. The world is filled with such characters. It's time we put them in their place! What's more important is that we must now take our rightful places at the helm of our own ship...our own lives.
Often times a lack of support can be very discouraging. This lack of support often is experienced as salt on a wound instead of water to the thirsty soul. Of course one could spare her or himself a lot of the sting of discouragement if he or she learned to draw on an authentic source of STRENGTH. This lies within you. No one can diminish it and you need no one to replenish it.
Oh who in the world am I? How can I attest to such a thing?
My life is a testimony to the fact that you can accomplish anything you want in life. I wanted to share what I learned with others who seek as I have searched. This course is dedicated to helping you develop the mindset of a super successful achiever. This course is absolutely FREE. It is an ongoing labor of love...a gift to you and to myself. With it I seek to combine two of my passions. It may seem a bit strange at first because my passions at first might appear to have no commonality at all. As we go on together however, you will come to see the connection...or perhaps through my own energy combined with your attention we together are creating a connectionâ€âa dynamic force that will serve to propel us both farther together than we would have been apart. Who knows? I do know that I believe in the power of the human Spirit that is aware always and in ALL ways of it's greatness. It remains in that awareness despite everything else.
THE POWER OF PERSEVERANCE
It is our choice to claim that power within our Spirit to remain steadfast and true to our own identity. We can choose, plot and follow our own course. We can dare to be different from the cattle. We can live our dreams. We know that we may stumble here and there but of course in life it is not that you fall that matters but how you get back up again! As Dr. Maya Angelou says in here wonderful poem..."AND STILL I RISE!" We have to continually throughout our lives put our nose to the stone and just keep going toward those things in life that hold true meaning for us. This quality is often called perseverance. The American Heritage Dictionary defines perseverance as the ability to persist in a purpose, an idea, or a task in the face of obstacles or discouragement.
Wow! That's my life story. How many times in life have you had to push on despite the battles, obstacles and hurdles placed in your path? Just arriving here in this new day makes you a winner. In all actuality, from moment to moment you are victorious. It takes Wisdom and contemplation to arrive at the place where you begin to realize that those times in your life that were the most challeging were the best times. Those were the times that brought out the best in you and when there was no "best" you were forced to manifest it within yourself. I appreciate the lessons of my life. They have made me who I am today. The most trying and difficult fires I have been made to struggle through in my life are the ones that have fashioned into a triumphant pheonix up from ashes. I wanted to capture the spirit of this phenomena in a poem I wrote called, Fire Is A Friend which is published on the net with a few of my others poems on www.Poetry.com.
Fire Is a Friend
In the earth I am absorbed, my flesh is covered, I am restored
In the wind I hear a voice, I have discovered, I've made my choice
And fire is a friend of mine, always true, seldom unkind
Ole fire is a friend of mine, burns me thru, and makes me fine
In the heart there is a key
It opens treasures, it sets me free
In the soul there is the truth
It needs no measures, it begs no proof
Yes fire is a friend of mine, sun-red-blue, leaves gold behind

AND A STUBBORN CHILD SHALL LEAD US
As a child my tenacity may have started out as just plain stubbornness. I can remember always being one to stick steadfast to what I felt in my heart and mind to be true. When I was 6 years old going to school in MOTOWN, Detroit MI., I remeber a day when our first grade teacher was absent but had left an assignment with the substitute teacher for the class. We were to take the grocery store circulars and compile a list from the items on sale that came to no more than a dollar. (I'm afraid I'm dating myself here because such an assignment today would be super simple because you could only get one item on the list if that with prices today!)
At any rate, all of the children in my class shocked me when they seemed to have understood the direction to be something compltely different from what i had understood the teacher to say. Everyone went about amassing a large list of products that they could find that had a price as close to one dollar as they could come.
"No. No," I said to those around me, "Mrs. Jackson wants us to make a list that adds up to one dollar, not make a list of all the things that cost a dollar!"
"Shut-up Dummy!" said one snot-nosed classmate.
"Yeah, Lisa. You doin it wrong!" said my best friend Regina.
A boy I had had a crush on by the name of Curtis even came over to my paper and drew a big red X on it with a red crayon.
Heartbroken. Annoyed. Disgusted. I looked at them all for a moment. I wondered how so many people could be so wrong. Was I wrong? I entertained the thought for a moment. Sheer logic however told me that the assignment my classmates were busy doing was no assignment at all. I could see no challenge or opportunity for us to learn anything at all from mindlessly writing down items that cost almost or just over 1 dollar. The directions as I understood them at least caused us to have to use some of our additions skills. So, I alone did the assignment as I believed we were directed. I alone received an excellent mark on my wrinkled, red marked paper from Mrs. Jackson the next day. Now you will just have to excuse me because I was only 6 years old but I walked passed Regina and whispered in her ear, "I told you so!"
"Dummy," whispered the snot-nosed boy as I sat down at my desk.
I tell this story because it is a wonderful example of the juxtaposition of almost my entire existence with the majority of the rest of the world. As a child it may have been sheer stubborness but as a grown woman who married young, divorced young, set about raising 3 young children alone and completing a BA and a MA degree during the past 7 tears, I would say that that stubborness has evolved into perseverence, success and hopefully at least a small modicum or true Wisdom.
THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SOUL
So today I come to you with confidence in my convictions and the strength one develops by committing herself to a task and simply staying the course despite the obstacles and nay sayers. If you have any goals or aspirations that you hold within your Body, Heart & Spirit, I hope you will find inspiration and validation as we go along this little path together. Whatever your goals and hopes for the future, you need to know that they are already yours. You only need to claim them. You need no one's approval. So do not ask or wait for it. "They" will never really give it to you anyway. That's their job.
Of my fondest passions are inner personal growth / success and independent Internet marketing/entrepreneurialship.
Ha! Ha! Does that sound ludicrous to you? Maybe so. Maybe no. The important thing is that I have defined my passions and interests despite any validation from external sources or other people. You must learn to do the same if you ever intend to be happy, whole and abundantly successful. You must develop the conviction to stick to your plan and follow your bliss despite what others say and think. You must learn to sit calmly, relax and check in with your body to see how you really "feel" within.
I'm serious about this. Pose a question to yourself. Sit. Breathe. Breathe in through your nose...out through your mouth. Give attention to each area of your body starting from your toes on up to your head. As you breathe simply say to yourself...
"I am aware that I am breathing in (INHALE). I am aware that I am breathing out (EXHALE)."
Repeat that several times for about 5 or 10 minutes until you focus relaxing breaths on every area of your body. Then when you are ready ask yourself a question that has been weighing on your mind or perplexing you for some time. When you ask the question hold on to the awareness of the Body. Your body will speak to you and the Body NEVER lies. You may become aware of sensation in your belly or a gut feeling. You may feel a stiffness or pain in your neck. Depending on the significance and nature of your question you may begin to feel sensation in your throat...a cry trapped there just waiting to be released. Follow the Body to your Truth. You can trust it more than anyone or anything else.
You may already know what you want. After going through this course you will know what it takes to get what you want and you will be qualified to teach others how to do the same. Now it is time for you to sit and ask yourself what they call "the HARD questions".
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
There are qualities of endeavor and achievement that are common to many people who make it to the top. The following test is designed to serve as a guideline to gage your current level of success potential. Get out a blank piece of paper and a pen to record your answers now.

1. Do you prefer to work for yourself than for others?
2. Are you a leader?
3. Can you finish a job even when it is difficult or unpleasant?
4. Are you challenged by problems?
5. Do you have a goal you want to achieve?
6. Do you strive to attain?
7. Can you bounce back after defeat?
8. Do you believe in yourself?
9. Are you able and willing to teach others what you learn about being successful?
10. Are you ready for success?

Here you must be commended for choosing to develop yourself further. Just the fact that you are delving into such a course of study illustrates that you have the first all important quality for becoming successful. That is your 'intention'. If one is to be successful, success must be the intention of the body, mind and the spirit.
For years it has been my intention to be self-employed. I have focused on developing a means by which I could live and be prosperous in this world without diminishing myself in the heirarchal madness that runs rampant in our society. I worked as an academic advisory at a university for a number of years and I can assure you that there are not many people as dangerous and toxic as educated fools and small people armed with big titles. I myself feel more myself in a freer system where on can be who she or he really is. I realized long ago that I would have to find or create the opportunity to live and be my authentic self all on my own.
The question for me became, "How can I apply my intelligence, education and energy in a way that I can generate the income neccessary to care for my family while remaining true to who I am as a human being? As we go along here together I will try to share some of what I have discovered with you. Some of it may ineterest you. Some may not. I am merely sharing. In our graduate program we were admonished by our very wise instructor to ‘keep what you need and discard the rest'.
For years I have heard that one can market anything over the Internet. I have seen many people trying to do just that. I myself have a need to offer quality and value to others. I belive the Universe opens up and supports those of us who sincerely try to offer worth and value to the world. As a child my mother always told me, "Never give anyone anything that you would not want yourself." In business I think that it is the same. In fact, it is one of my steadfast rules: Only market something that you yourself would find of value.
A MEANS TO YOUR DREAM
One of the main things I have always dreamed of is VACATIONS. I have a wander-lust and love to see other parts of the country and the world. Many of us do but too few of us have the means or ability to indulge that passion. We don't have the time, the FREEDOM (my favorite word) or the money. Those limits are false. WAKE UP! I mean it. This world runs rampant with class ceiling and false limitations. They are only real because we accept them. Reject them and they melt away.
Now open your eyes. I'm about to usher you into a new paradigm. Did you know that the travel industry is all just one big illusion? It is. People pay hundreds of thousands of dollars every year for something that should be close to free. For me travel is close to free. It should be for you too. As a matter fact it is. Open your eyes. Let's first discuss how the travel industry really works. You will soon see that paying exorbitant prices for vacations, cruises and resorts is like paying for tickets to get into the grocery store to spend more money on the merchandise inside...(Oh it truly is the same thing my friend!)

You have a responsibility to yourself and this world to strive to fulfill the potential that the Creator sent you into this world with.

There is no way to success and inner satisfaction without appealing to the higher consciousness. Search within and without to find the paths that are meant for you and follow them with conviction and a steady heart. Do as advised and you will be successful beyond measure. SUCCESS: THE ON GOING PROCESS
Now that you are ready for success, you need to know that success is ready for you. It always was, is and shall forever be. No one may have ever told you that you were brilliant, gifted, talented and POWERFUL beyond measure. Well, you are. You can tell it to yourself as I have had to tell it to myself. Today we shall begin saying this affirmation together until you become so keenly aware of the Truth in it that it actually becomes a part of the cells of your Body, the thoughts in your Mind and the Light of your Spirit. Say the following affirmation every morning when you rise. Just say it. As we go on together we will begin to develop a list of actions that we will take to really give life to this affirmation. For now we will just begin by saying it daily. Write it on a few note cards and post it around your house. Stick it to a mirror. Post it on the dashboard of your car. Place it over the toilet tissue dispenser. Oh yes! I am quite serious. Here is the affirmation:
